We’d like to share with you the process of sake making, comparing different kinds and brands of sake, and enjoying with tasty snacks that would perfectly match with our selected sake. We will first get to know each other by having a traditional Japanese lunch in Kobe city. Then we will head to the 3 most famous sake breweries in Nada Ward, along with sake museums. I would like our guests to get to know the historical background and production method, while getting a feel of deliciousness and craftsmen by actually tasting freshly made sake.
Meeting point : Lingua World Cafe (Tanimachi 9 chome Station EXIT #5)
Time : AM 11:00
What is unique? :
-Kobe City Nada Area is famous as a place to produce sake, touching the history that continues from Muromachi period.
-“Sugi-dama” hanging at the entrance of the sake brewery has a role of informing that sake has been made, but because originally appreciation is given to the god of sake, it also involves closely related with Japanese priests and religion to introduce.
-There is a movie introducing sake making in Japanese and English at the museum, so we will take time to look at the process.
-In the pleasant tasting section, we will actually taste Daiginjyo, top quality sake, and introduce the optimum temperature management and drinking method. It is possible to try a tasting set at a stand corner.
